IOM X is the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID) innovative campaign to encourage safe migration and public action to stop exploitation and human trafficking.
In 2016, IOM X began working with community stakeholders in Narsingdi, Narayananj and Kishoreganj, as well as gathering input from relevant government ministries and national counter-trafficking organizations across Bangladesh.
Through a series of participatory workshops called the IOM X Roadshow, four videos have been produced together with creative agency Asiatic to encourage young Bangladeshi migrants to ensure they have the correct visa before migrating abroad.
IOMX.org/BD features these four videos, as well as other IOM X resources that are available in Bangla.
